Mini amplifier

Our new mini amplifier will fit on small handheld devices and mobile phones, and will amplify the sound output on your device so your voice can be heard easily.

Our Backbox mini amplifier has been a favourite accessory for people using small computers, PDAs and mobile phones as communication aids. As some of these devices are now getting smaller and smaller, we have redesigned it.

Best Performance

Not only is the mini amplifier smaller, but it is a lot louder. You can also set the volume and the sensitivity to get a better match with your particular hardware device.

Adjusting the sensitivity allows you to get the most out of the amplifier - setting it so that the amplifier will switch off when there is no sound input, thereby saving battery life, while turning back on as soon as it hears low volume sounds from your communication aid.

Charging

It is now possible to charge your amplifier through a standard USB or mini USB lead. This means that you can also charge it from your computer (as long as the computer is on!). The batteries will last approximately two weeks, depending on how much talking you do.
